Yes, email.

Med is valid for 1 yr. so most probably they will get visa and will hv to land before medical expires.

Status update:

Just received request for my parents' additional documents(IMM 0008 etc), medical & updated police clearance. Passport NOT requested yet. 60 day time limit to submit at LVO-ND. 

They are asking most of the forms all over again.... Grrrrrrrrr

Just received an email requesting for passport to Hong Kong. Hoping we get the visa soon! Does anyone know how long it might take?

my application recived on 2 january  2009
application transfer to delhi nov 2012
medical done on 19 june 2013
passport and other documents rcived at canadian high cmmison on 28 june 2013...
anyone have any idea it takes how long for visas..

Here's my updates:

Received - Sept. 9th, 2009
Additional Info. Requested - March 30, 2012
Additional Info. Sent - June 5, 2012
Receipt of completed application - July 13, 2012
Requested for medicals and police certificates - May 2013

Last update is that they're currently doing a background check in Canada.  They haven't asked for my parent's passport.  Is that expected?  I'm hearing from you guys that the passports are usually requested along with the medicals, but I could be wrong.

I had applied for my Mother in 2009 after I lost my Father
My mothers Medicals and Passport along with Police Clearance was sent to New Delhi
The CIC timeline shows her medicals received in July 2013
Does anyone have any idea when I should expect her passport back??
The strike has ruined everything for most of us... :(

one thing worth mentioning, is that my parents' file are not transferred to the local visa office before they were request the meds. I just received the medical exam forms by email. and from the message, it seems that i m still dealing with Mississauga.
