Cancel study visa - possible?

I'm currently in Canada on a visitor visa, and I applied for the study visa a few weeks ago. I do not want it anymore and would like to return home, would like to have my passport back as soon as possible.

Is cancellation possible?

Yes, just contact the office where you applied and say you wish to withdraw your application and request the return of the passport.
