Dear Forum members,
I wanted to apply for a study visa for 6 months study in the University of Calgary. But i was not sure if i can apply for open work permit for my wife. Can i work after my study visa expiry/course completion? Thanks Japs |

Hi
1. CIC doesn't usually issue study permits for course of 6 months or less. 2. To get a Post Grad work permit, the course must be at least 8 months in length. 3. Your wife would not be entitled to an OWP for a 6 month course. |
