We have opening with our client for Tester Position . This is a contract position for  1 year(possible extension is there).

Responsibilities include:

·          Review of business, functional, and non-functional requirements generated by the client’s application system projects to ensure the documented requirements are verifiable and testable;

·          Create and review test plans, test cases, test data, and test results for application systems under development, including enhancements and bug fixes;

·          Develop or support for the development of UAT plans, and to conduct User Acceptance Testing as appropriate;

·          Develop or support for the development of testing plans and the conducting of testing with Independent Software Vendors;

·          Coordinate with diverse client Service Delivery project teams to implement and conduct the quality assurance process;

·          Provide assistance to Service Delivery Managers in the setup, tracking, and completion of quality assurance related activities;

·          Identify, maintain and track defects identified in testing cycles;

·          Coordinate with stakeholders the planning, management, and monitoring of Limited Production Rollout’ activities (i.e. pilots);

·          Develop and maintain appropriate documentation that reflects the process and outcomes of the ‘Quality Assurance Program’;

·          Maintain, execute and enhance the established automated test scripts and test tools; and

·          Provide support, such as training, documentation and mentoring for the transition of testing services to client personnel.

Mandatory Requirements:

·          2 years of demonstrated experience leading a managed testing process and supporting system developers and end users in testing activities.

·          2 years of demonstrated experience using planning and development skills in developing test processes, procedures and scripts based on business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

Desirable Requirements:

·          Demonstrated industry experience in for example: IM/IT systems analysis, business area analysis and the associated methods and processes, etc.

·          Demonstrated stakeholder relationship skills for example: presentation; verbal and written communication; and testing strategy documentation, etc.

·          Demonstrated experience reviewing business, functional, and non-functional requirements generated by systems development projects to ensure they are testable and verifiable.

·          Demonstrated experience in the planning and development for the design and monitoring of ‘testing’ systems for example, any of: unit testing, system testing, regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing.

·          Demonstrated experience testing complex application systems in an integrated systems environment.

·          Demonstrated experience in a role requiring knowledge of testing processes and procedures for conformance testing.

·          Demonstrated experience in a role requiring knowledge of system to system messaging testing.

·          Demonstrated experience in a role using automated test tools for example, Rational Functional Tester and Clear Quest (preferred), or similar tools.

·          Demonstrated experience in conducting an application system limited production rollout (pilot testing).
