Hello,

I am currently working in US on H1B Visa since mid 2010. I filed for my greencard in end of 2012. With the current backlog I am not able to estimate a timeframe for receiving permanent residenceship in US. With a child nearing highschool, I am planning to move to Canada and gain permanent residence.

Can you please advice the best way to do this?

I can provide answers to any specific questions.

Thanks
Ramachandran Nair

There are different programs available in Canada that can allow you to apply for permanent residence. However, in order to establish which program may be applicable in you specific case, please fill out our free assessment as the answer to this question depends on multiple factors.
