Hello,

My Aunt is visiting us from India and is planning to stay with us for another 6 months. At present, she needs to exit by 10th Feb 2018.

We had a baby recently and we need a family member like her to be around for some more time to help with our first child. Would appreciate if someone can answer my following queries:
  1. Does she need a medical exam completed for the extension of her visitor visa - she has lived in India before coming here?
  2. While applying online, there is an option to submit "Letter of Explanation" - can I draft a letter from my end requesting for her visa extension giving reference to our current family situation (help with the newborn)?

Would appreciate your response.
