Hello all,

I have a US passport that has my Canadian work permit attached.

It will expire in a few months but I would like to renew. Would it be OK to remove the work permit and renew my passport then wait to renew my work permit?

I can't get answers from anyone.

1. Yes you can remove it. Note your passport would have to be valid to apply for a new work permit.
