Dear Friends,

I am a new landed immigrant (PR) and want to sponsor my wife and child from islamabad.

Appreciate your advise on the below:
- I am aware that incase of spousal sponsorship no income (LICO) is required but not sure if income is required if the spouse is accompanying child (infant). Need advise

- What are the exact fees i have to pay ? CIC webite is confusing.

Do anyone has the experience of obtaining the valid sponsorship for spouse and child while unemployed ?

When did you file your papers? When did you get landed? Were you married during this time or was your wife pregnant during this time?

If you were married, you were supposed to include your wife (and if your child was already born, the child too) in YOUR PR application.
You may not be able to sponsor them under the family class since you did not declare them.

I became the PR before marriage and since then was outside canada. Now recently came back and want to file sponsorship as soon as possible. Wondering if income is required in this case since i am still on a job hunt.

Ok then. Thanks for explaining. If it's just your wife and child then income doesn't matter. It doesn't hurt to still get a job though.
