I arrived bck in BC this afternoon and was told by the IO that there is a scheme available for people up to the age of 30/31, whereby you can get a visa to work for a year here, does anyone know what se was talking about?

Yes, i got one through the UK with a company called BUNAC. In Canada they are represented by SWAP.
