Hi, I have a post-graduate work permit which will be expired in May 2010. I want to study another course in Canada.
How can I apply for a study permit when I am in Canada with a valid work permit? How long will it take?
- Do I need to apply from Buffalo and do all things again as I used to apply for my initial study permit? (Medical examination, letter of intent, proof of financial support.
- Or can I just simply use the form "change conditions or extend your stay in Canada" to change from Work permit to study permit?
BTW, I am in Canada, can I use the proof of financial support provided by my parents sent from back home (like their bank statement?)

Use the form "change conditions or extend stay in Canada" and apply for the study permit......but you gotta have acceptance letter from the school you want to attend, as well as the other requirements....
You apply to CPC Vegreville, AB.
Once you get your study permit, you can apply for a TRV (visa sticker) through buffalo, if applicable (if you're not from a TRV exempt country)
