I'm having some issues about document translations I was hoping I could get cleared up.
How should I go about creating a translated document? Take for example a phone bill, which is formatted in a very specific way. Do I need to scan the document, open it up in photoshop, edit out any text in a foreign language, and add in its English translation? Or can I just make a photocopy of the document, and hand-write in any translations under their foreign-language originals? And one final question about translations, it says on the CIC website that translations from family members are not acceptable. Does that also imply that neither me (the sponsor), nor my partner (the principal applicant) can translate documents? Thanks, FMW
