I'm an Irish construction orphan and I'm currently working and backpacking in New Zealand. Because I chose to leave Ireland, I've been thinking about lot about my future and things I'd like to be doing while my beloved Ireland climbs out of the shttter.
I'm 30 now and I never made it to third level education but I really regret not serving an apprenticeship when I was younger. At this stage, I would really love to become a qualified motorcycle mechanic as this is my passion in life. I know that there is a lot of skilled migrants heading to Canada but I wondered if it was viable to get some kind of sponsorship as an apprentice? Maybe it would be considered study?
Any point in the right direction would be appreciated. |
