Hi,
As a new student, I will be driving up from New York City to Montreal next week.
i have my CAQ and will be applying at the border for the study permit. I have all the documents needed. What I cannot find on the CIC website, is  if I can pay cash at the border?
They mentioned that the NY consulate would only take Certified checks and money order, but I would like to know if it is the same case at the border.
Also, is the fee still $125 US and CAD?
Thank you for any information you can give,
regardsSmile

Cash, Credit Card, and the fee is Canadian. They probably will take US at par.
