I honestly don't know whether your question is within the scope of our knowledge here.  I think you'd do well to consult with a qualified immigration attorney because there are conditions to sponsoring a family member like a parent or a sister/brother that you wouldn't have sponsoring your own dependent child . . . but it seems you have given some sort of guardianship of your son to your sister and the legalities of that might affect your ability to sponsor your son.  Typically you'd have an easier time sponsoring your own child, and a harder time sponsoring a sibling.  Whether it's possible to do both at all is something an attorney should probably address.
