Visa Extention Tips

I understand that your mother, while in the immigration process, wishes to apply for her temporary resident status extension. Since your mother has a dual intent http://www.cic.gc.ca/EnGLish/study/institutions/intent.asp, the onus is on you to convince immigration officials that she will not overextend her TRS (Visitor's Status) in Canada and/or, in case of refusal of her PR application, will not end up staying here illegally. The absence of any relatives in her home country (in her case) is not terribly helpful but you have to be honest with CIC and provide them with all the requested information.   

 

Therefore, you should attach all the necessary documents, such as CIC correspondence, your proof of employment, the last Notice of Assessment, Guarantor's Letter/Statutory Declaration in support of her application, etc.
