Does anyone know if there will be a problem if my husband (sponsor) does not have a job? he is fully supported by his parents tho. i had been living with them for a year and i have been adopted into the family pretty much. that was before i was required to leave Canada )':
please help me. im here all alone in Thailand and it is killing me not being able to be with him. |

There are no minimum income requirements to sponsor a spouse, but the sponsor should be able to demonstrate that there is support available so that CIC can be reasonably convinced that the applicant will not have to collect social assistance once they arrive in Canada. Co-signers are not applicable to spousal cases, but he can include letters of support from his family saying that they are supporting him and that they were supporting you while you were in Canada also.
