Hi 

I am from Pakistan, I applied for work permit to CIC Islamabad at 28th December 2010, Now yet I have not received any response from CIC Islamabad Office.

Any idea when they will contact me for further process.
How I know that what is status of my application?

Any one who applied work permit from Pakistan recently please share your experience and time line.

Their web site states a minimum of 16 weeks from the receipt of a complete application. So a minimum of another month.
