Hi!

So I'm traveling to my country and I have to get a new passport. In the new passport my last name will be changed to my married name. The PR card holds my maiden name.
So my question is: Can I return to Canada with the new passport (married name) and the old PR card (maiden name)? I can still show the old passport (which wouldn't be valid for traveling, but would match the name on the PR card).

Do they make a lot of problems?

Apply for a new PR Card showing the new name.
Or keep same name in new passport like the PR Card.

If I were you, I'd make sure names on both documents match.

Call CIC 1-888-242-2100 and speak to an agent if you need further clarification
