Need URGENT help regarding medical Insurance 4 PR

Hi All,

 I am permanent resident (landed immigrant) and flying to Canada in
2 days time and wish to ask if i should purchase medical insurance from
home country before starting so that all unexpected and unplanned medical
expenses are covered or will i be insured by Canadian Govt from day i
will be reaching there? Last year I landed in Toronto and return the
same day but now landing in Quebec.

	It depends where you are going to reside. Some provinces have a three months waiting period (I think they are BC, Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick). You should check the medical services website for the specific province. G.
