Traffic Arrest warrants

Hello, I applied for citizenship recently but there is a serious traffic ticket in another province hanging over my head and I haven't taken care of it(driving without insurance in Alberta $2875). It's been years but I know there is still a warrant out for my arrest in Alberta. 
CIC is obviously gonna see that when they run a CPIC check. What's gonna happen? Are they gonna deny my application because of that? Any advice? (I don't have $2875 at the moment.)
