A quick question, what is the cheapest way to ship something (a wedding gift) from the UK toCanada.

It depends what the gift is really. Royal Mail (equivalent of Can Post) is probably your best bet if its small, light and non fragile.

Couriers like DHL or UPS are another option, but more pricy. I'm assuming its too small for aircargo, but that's another option that's probably going to be cheaper than a courier for larger items.

Yes use Royal Mail...Tim mailed me a photo before we met in person using purolator it cost him $50...and then another time mailed me my watch (not a heavy one either) a few years ago when I went back home to the UK along with one piece of mail...it cost him $80 with DHL...Then I had to pay tax on my own watch...Shocked

So go with Royal Mail if you can...most cases its cheaper

It is wedding gifts from her friends as she lived in the UK for 5 years nearly. A bag about 25 kg Ouch
