Financial documents for visitor's visa (TRV)

Hello all,

I'm applying for a visitor's visa for my grandmother. I have sent a letter of invitation to her that she will be submitting along with her application.

My question is can I send my financial docuemnts to support her application directly to the visa office? Since she is old a few other people are helping with the application and for privacy reasons I don't want to disclose my financial information to people other than CIC officials.

After the visa application is proceessed will my docuemnts be returned? To the applicant's address or my address in Canada?
