Folks
My Mom's visa got rejected just last week and is there a possibility that I can apply immediately with more documentation.Is there any rule/policy that i cannot apply immediately?
appreciate any info on this

There is no rule/policy about sending another application but if the circumstances of your mom had not changed then she will get another refusal. Overcome the points of rejection before submitting another application;you may have a greater chance at getting a positive response. |

ny idea why it was rejected? did she show enough ties of going back to her country?

thanks for the response. The rejection says some generic statements and not pointing to a particular issue. So bit confused what can make visa officer confortable that she returns back/proof etc? because she has given the proof that she is on her own interms of monetary status and she has ties, like family, daughters etc..not sure what else can be provided apart from these?
any help much appreciated

well thats what normally people show as ties like property,home, family, money in india..u must have sent her an invite letter too...Wait for some time and apply again.Sometimes the officers r really unpredictable...Maybe the officer this time will be a mot more considerate

well.I did send an invite letter. planning to apply again...last time did not notarise my invitation, this time planning to do so and also planning to have my Mom's proof /documents notarised in India..hope this will have some more justtification...hoping for the best:-)
