Death of primary applicant

Hi 
I have applied recently for PG family sponsorship for my parents (January 4, 2016). Suddenly my Dad passed away. I checked recently using my old client id and i see that status as " Application received for Family Sponsorship" . I would still want this to be progressed for my Mom. Would I need to contact CIC in this regard and update ? What is the procedure ?
