Hello

I applied for my parents H&C in Oct 2009, checked ECAS today(April 17th) and it mentions application is transferred to your local CIC office for further processing. I live in Etobicoke, ON and want to know is this good news or not? what are the next steps? and it takes how long on an average to receive a YES or NO.

My parents case was not a refugee case, they came on visitor's visa and we decided to apply for H&C as they have no one back home to look after them, since Im their only Son.

Appreciate any replies, comments, suggestions.
