Between July 2007 and July 2008 I worked as a Systems Support Analyst at a UK retail company known as Alpha Retail plc (now part of the Autogrill sPA group). My duties included:

- 2nd line technical support relating to retail site's IT system (tills, back office computer system etc)
- Working with 3rd party software & hardware providers to implement solutions in order to minimise any disruption to the sites
- Maintenance checks to make sure that the IT systems on each site and communication channels were running as normal every day

Judging from this I believe I fall into NOC 2282 - does this 12 months experience make me eligible for the Federal Skilled Worker Class? I fulfil all other requirements as far as I'm aware.

	There are only 38 occupations in DEMAND. CIC only accepts those 28 occupations for skilled worker class now, gone are the days when ALL occupations were eligible..... www.cic.gc.ca

	if you are not one of these, you dont qualify at this point unless NOC 38 list is revised... 0213: Computer and Information Systems Managers
