PR Card renewal application received by CIC

I submitted my PR Card renewal application to CIC and tracking shows they received it on October 22, 2014.  
It's been 5 months and I can't even get a status up date here:

It says "case not found".    I did not even receive a receipt regarding my case.   

Is this normal?

	I am affraid that is pretty normal. They received my renewal application beginning of April of 2014 and I had my card in the mail in October 2014, almost 7 months. They don't send out any receipts. Just hope your card does not have any mistakes, my card had the wrong eye color and I still haven't received my new, corrected card. Still in limbo ... very bad and frustrating situation!
