Hi,

Can a parent sign the PR renewal application for her minor child (17 yrs old), when she (the mother) herself has not yet met the residency requirement of 2 years in 5 years after becoming the Permanent Resident.

Both mother and child currently reside in Canada.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Regards.
