My fiance was deported June 25, 2011. He was refused his permanent residence. I started the long process of trying to get him back to Canada so that we could be re-united. We are finally in the visa issuance stage. He is from Burundi and we are dealing with the Canadian Embassy in Kenya. Does anyone know how long this stage takes? We just want to be back together and end this very long nightmare.
