Good day,
I posted this in the visitor visa thread and no answer...so thought of posting here.
I become a PR here on July 2007...I finished my 730 day residency obligation last month and i applied for PR renewal on July 9,2012 (i had 773 days when i applied for renewal). My question is regarding Tourist visa sponsor for my parents adn siblings.
- I sponsored my parents tourist visa before 6 months and they got it approved.
- So i thought of applying for my sibling who want to visit Canada for a month . Her partner is not interested in coming, so i applied for my sibling and her child before 15 days. Today they got an email saying their visa is rejected... I have no idea why a tourist visa got rejected, if they are returning back in 1 month.
Anyways my question is
1) Can a PR sponsor her parents/siblings a TOURIST VISA (NOT) AN IMMIGRATION PETITION , before he finishes 730 days?
2) will it create any problem for my PR renewal, since i sponsored their Tourist visa before i finish my 730 days?
Help appreciated.

Hi
1. Your days in Canada as a PR have little or no bearing on whether a relative receives a TRV to visit Canada. 2. Your sister and nephew would have to overcome the reasons for the refusal. They are contained in the letter of refusal. |
