The following warning has been sent to BlackRacon:
To be clear, it is indeed true, I rarely give warnings. The only option is to post appropriately or to cease participating. I do not discuss this. I do not attempt to explain what spam is or why. In this regard I am just a spam cop. Any questions should be addressed to the site's administrators. |

Perhaps something should be clarified:
I suspend and block (as best I can) many people every single week. Sometimes I suspend several people in a single day. I almost always do so without warning. BlackRacon is not the only person to post spam here and is not being singled out. Except that BlackRacon is being given a chance that most do not get. (The vast majority of spam is blatantly spam and that is all that person posts; so yes, in contrast, it is more difficult to effectively police the site when it involves someone who contributes but who also makes inappropriate posts. Hence the warning.) For anyone who does not understand the guidelines posted for the site, or what spam is (someone referred to flooding earlier this week . . . that is a type of spam, and yes, that has been part of the problem being addressed here), I am sorry. I do not have time to engage in instruction on this matter. Again, I am just a spam cop in this regard. My role is to block inappropriate posting, as best the limited tools I have allow. So, the option is simple: post appropriately or cease posting. For someone who cannot self-regulate their posts, who does not know how to post appropriately at this site, sorry, but inappropriate posts will result in suspension and blocking. |
