I have a fiancee' that will be on a visitor's visa and would be getting married w/in this time period (6 months) then will be applying for PR via Family Class option. Now my question is this would 30 days, before the 6 months expiry, be enough time for my fiancee's status be legal or would we have to file another application for extended stay at the same time? Thanks,

If you apply for PR and the application is finalized before the end of the visit visa, then you are good. If not, then you are not. Taking into consideration how long it takes for a PR application to be finalised, you maybe looking at atleast a year to many years. Any time spent after the visit visa expires and before the PR is issued has to be legal. Which would mean you need to extend the visitor status or find some other legal status to stay in Canada.
