Hi there, 

I am wondering about how to properly extend the visa status for my spouse (we just got married in Canada).  We are in the process of submitting the paperwork for PR, however need to extend the visitors visa.  My spouse has a multi entry visitors visa good for a year, although the 6 months is almost up.  

The question is, what would be an appropriate reasoning for visa extension?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.
