Hi All,
I got a 6 month job offer and the multiple entry visa also for same period. I know that I should get the work permit at the border for 6 months, starting from my entry date. I have two questions: [1] Assuming my offer is not extended and I could not get a new LMO, typically when I should leave Canada. [2] It is relevant. I guess I should show round-trip itinerary to the CIC officer. So, assuming the offer is until Jun 30. What should be the return date. |

1- Your TRS (temporary residence status) ends with the expiry of your work permit, If no application to extend has been submitted. You must leave on or before the expiry of the wp.
2- CBSA understands that many wp's are extended. The weight they would place on a return ticket would be far less than a visitor. Edited by ProudOne - 05 Dec 2010 at 10:40am |
