I would like to enquire about the work permit that is being given to the spouse of the student visa applicants. I got to know about this from the below link,

To give you some background about me, I have got an admission for MSc in a Canadian University, which is a two years full time course starting from September 2011. Moreover, I am planning to get married soon. I would like to know if my fiancé who is a Software Professional Manager would be able to get a dependant work permit? Do I need to apply for his work permit along with my student visa or after my Student Visa is approved? Also will there be any issues If I get married after getting my Student Visa ?And when can I apply for the visa if I attend to go to Canada by mid August?

It would be of great help if you can reply me on this.

	Canada doesnot provide for student dependent visa. there is no such thing as student dependent in Canada. your spouse can apply for a visitor visa and after entering Canada can apply for work permit.
