Here is small update. Finally my time came to read "Discover Canada". Just saw my eCas.
They say "We sent you a notice on October 25, 2010 to [My address] to appear and write the citizenship test on November 15, 2010 at 9:45 AM"

I called CIC who told me that I have a hearing....
No details shown, no schedule too... I guess the reason is that I didn't have my old passports although the new one was issued on feb 2007.
anybody can advise on my case??
How long does it take to attend the hearing in montreal??

I Know someone who waited 3 months. He received a RQ in may 2010, and had the interview in August with the judge. So, It depends.

You needed to have your old passport, since It covered 2 of the last 4 years at the moment you sent your application. This is the reason why, I think, you've received a RQ. You'll probably have your interview in the next 6 months.

Eah ,

A hearing with a citizenship judge is usually the last step of the inquiry process.
CIC start by issuing an RQ and reevaluate the application on the light of the supplied data.
If and only if CIC official are not satisfied by the provided documents , the file get escalated to the citizenship judge. A missing passport normally trigger an RQ and not a hearing. Are you sure that you were told that you will have a hearing or just assume that ?
Did you explicitly mentionned in your application a number of days less than 1095 ?
A hearing with the citizenship judge is a lengthy process it can take up to 2 years. Cases who ends in 3 or 6 months are usually RQ  and not a hearing.
In your situation I would consider abandonning my current application and re-application making sure that I do have enough days and all needed documents including my passport.
Check for a professional advice before taking any action.

Best Luck in your citizenship endavour.

It is hearing... no RQ sent to me yet and not mentioned in my e-case.
My e-case didn't view the hearing too. It is been advised by CIC agent who told me that we passed the exam too.
Number of days is more than 1095.

Eah,

If you mentionned a trip before 2007 in your application and don't have your passport covering this period of time, then this is a really big problem for them.  You could have been out of Canada for 2 years. They don't know...

Analysing Vaga's case, It seems the primary criteria is the 'transfert to local CIC' date. Damn it ! I was kind of crossing my fingers, hoping the mailing date will be taken into account ! Seams I was wrong. So it means Tabita is next in  the test list.
"@eah  Don't give up. Things will fall into place , in less than 3 months like Zaco said.

Yes Zaco..
You are right.. this is the main issue...
But the current passport shows the entry to canada... and since feb 2007 till now didn't leave,

I didn't even renew the current passport which expired last jan to avoid losing it as a proof like the first one.

Anyway... It is OK for me to meet the judge as my life is fully stable... hosing... schooling .. working..

The main problem is the unknown waiting time as you feel that your life is pending for unknown period..
