Hey iommi12! I too, have not heard a 'thing' from my Embassy, which is Paris. My husband's application has been in process since December 29th, and we received our AOR the beginning of January, and then 'nothing!' I guess it's just been over 3 months, so it's really not that long, but it seems like an eternity! But, I found a way to ease the tension, and that is, I booked a flight to go see my husband on April 18th for 2 weeks! yay!!! At least for 'now', I'm not fretting over the wait, but I am sure that upon my return, it will start up all over again! Hang in there iommi12 and launched, our turn will come too!

I'm feeling the same way! My application for PR has been in process since Dec. 9 2009. That is almost 4 months. Buffalo sent the IA, requested RPRF and PCC from 2 states, no interview. I'm sure the request for documents has caused the delay. I have a mark on my NY record from 1996, young and stupid bites you in the butt later on in life. Nothing else, learned my lesson. The BC is probably eating time. I hope I hear something positive soon. My medicals expire May 2010... Anybody else waiting for word??? Thank you everyone for priceless knowledge and information on this forum. I wish I had discovered this forum a long time ago... Congrats to those who have PR visa. |

Thanks guys for all the support! I really don't think we could have done it as painlessly without all of you sharing your stories, tips, tricks and hints!
It's such a relief....Wife landed yesterday. The whole process was done very quickly at the Consulate in Buffalo and at the border crossing where we landed. we crossed the border quite alot over the past year and a half so we kinda got to know some of the faces at the border, was nice to have the "on our side" instead of feeling like we're being interogated.
I really can't underscore the support and peace of mind that this forum gave us. thanks again to all! We will be here to provide support and peace of mind when we can also! :D
