Suzie616, Thanks for your response to my question regarding the police certificate. You said i don't have to wait for the accra office to request before sending the police certificate. Could you please tell me the process to get the certificate. My spouse is from kumasi and i wonder if we can get the certificate in kumasi or she has to travel to accra to get it. Thanks in advance.

I cannot help you on that because my husband was from Nigeria so he went to the Central Department in Lagos there.  Didn't your previous post mention where your spouse would have to go for the police certificate?

Suzieq616, thanks for your reply and i really appreciated. I have done research and i have found where she has to go for the clearance certificate. I called the Ghana police department and they said it is done at the criminal investigation department in accra(CID). Thanks a lot if you did not post on my question i would just send in the application without thr clearance certificate and now i can save a lot of time when she does it. Thanks
