I have a friend in the Middle East who will migrate to canada this summer. She wants to bring her pakistani maid along. Is that possible, and what is the procedure? My friend does not want to hire through an agency and wants to personally sponsor her own old maid.

She can apply for her for a live-in care giver once she arrive Canada. There are salary schemes that she need to adhere to and pay taxes (I think a good number is $1800 monthly). It will also take sometime before visa issued.
