Will i be allowed to come back?

Hi everyone,                    I just got my post graduation work permit in November 2011 which is valid until November 2014. I am from India and for some reasons, i have to go to India around January 12 and would have to stay there until August. I am still not employed anywhere bcos i am waiting to give a license exam for LPN in Jan. So would it be a problem if i stay in India for that long and com back here later? Really in need of a reply to this. Hope someone can help! Thank you!!
