Hello,
I am currently here on the 2011 iec working holiday programme. I was hoping to apply for the 2012 programme but they have put in a new regulation. The proof of habitual residency.Stating that one must live in their home country for 18 of the last 36 months. I have only been there for 10,so do not qualify to apply. My visa is up at the end of January,so only have 5 weeks left. My employer says he will sponsor me.He covers various types construction. Can I get sponsored or do I have to get an LMO?? I work as a heavy equipment operator(excavator, backhoe, loader, bobcat) I've been through the mill with this before in Australia. Don't think I can get sponsored as an operator, but worked as a carpenter(not qualified)for 4 years between 2002-2006.Made a career change when I moved to Australia. I don't mean to go on but my head is flying. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated. Regards...
