Please, help. Re-entry to Canada.

Hi everyone :

My name is Yanet from Mexico I was deported from Canada in April 1st. 2009 and the immigration officer said that I can't re-entry to Canada after 1 year and If I want to re-entry I have to pay my fine that is 1500 CND, he said that I would not have any problem if I want to re-entry (I didn't have any record, was only overstay) but I want to know if somebody had this experience or know about this. My question is : Do you think that I really can re-entry paying my fine? If I have an invitation letter, would be more easy? I only go as a visitor. I need visa now if mexicans wants to visit Canada so, if somebody is inviting me to go and he will be responsable for me, do you think that I could back?
