Hi,
My wife is a Chinese Citizen, she holds a Australian temporary resident permit based on our marriage. She's expecting to get permanent residency soon but we're planning to leave Australia before this will come through.  We're planning a big backpacking adventure. I would like to goto canada on the WHP. She would enter on a TRV. The problem is we're quiting our jobs so ties might be a bit hard to prove.

The other problem is my visa would be for 2 years, hers would only be for a few months max, wouldn't this make her a overstay risk(in there eyes)?

Has anyone tried something like this before and were they succesful?
