Thanks rdanny! I'm not celebrating until the immigration officer says: "you have been granted with PR!" I'm afraid that I'll jinx myself But after that, I am planning a big party!!!
I wish you a happy ending soon! |

deppi938, congratulations! I am still waiting for the interview to be scheduled. Can you please come back to the forum once you have re-entered Canada without the actual PR-Card and tell me how it went? I have similar plans, I'd like to travel abroad once I get PR status, but I do not want to wait for the card to arrive.

congrats deppie! thats the fastest processing i've ever heard! good for you! and indimae soon your day will come to become actually a PR in canada. mine I don't know how long it will take for the background check but they didn't transfer my file to local cic though, so I think theres no problem with it. Im happy still coz I have work permit and my ohip and sin already renewed. Congrats to all PR granted applicants!!!

No, Vegreville still has not received my medicals yet, which I got done on April 23rd. I am waiting eagerly for them to schedule an appointment for me here in Calgary. Ideally I'd like to travel in July.

I have a question. Tomorrow is my landing interview. I was wondering
what is the best way to do the payment for PR card- cash or credit card?
And where should you make the payment- is there online or should be
directly there?
