Dear
my wife contacted MP already right after one month when chc-isb received our updated imm forms, pcc and re-medical by end of may 2010. My wife sent inquiry thru MP by end of June 2010. We have not heard anything back yet from MP office. We are waiting for reply from MP office. It seems like we are not going to hear anything back from Chc-isb untill end of August 2010. Its long frustrated wait................. We don't know what is going on with our files right now. I will suggest you to send one email by your self to Canadian High Commission. Don't involve MP as you have seen we have not heard anything back from MP office its already been 20 days since my wife contacted MP.
If i will be at ur place sure i will send email to chc-isb untill now because we never get any update thru E-Cas, so only way to get update abt our cases is just to send email. Our timeline is almost same and i am hopefull we will hear somthing in same time frame. Keep in touch and please if u get any update abt your case share with us.
Hope we hear some good news sooner. I noticed in those cases timeline that it takes 6 months after chc-isb started to process our applications before we get Visa stamped on our passports.
good luck

LEON Bahi,
Did your wife called MP office? Or sent an email?
Usually calling is the best. When I was going thru the "wait game" after the appeal, I always called MP's office, knew the name of the person I talked to (always the same). She would send an email to CHC ISB and will receive a response within 5 working days. MP's office will call me and relay the response.
Tell your wife to call the MP's office and find out the reason for delay in response.

Dear mnisar ,
My wife went to MP office and talked with MP Office Secretary. MP Office Seceretary sent inquiry to CHC-isb onthe behalf of my wife. I don't know why they are not replying. This MP Office never replied our Inquiry quicker. I will wait more and then i will send an email to chc-isb. What do u think why they chc-isb taking long to reply?

LEON,
When it comes to immigration, Allah knows how each country office works. Some offices don't take as long as the others. I think you have to take that country's culture in account as well, and you very well know how our people in Pakistan operate (it is sad to say). IOs are from the sam culture as well.
I don't know why you need to send an email. You know approx. timelines you have posted yourself. Any time an IO requests an update, your file goes back in que. It would be an ideal situation if appeal cases are given priority, but unfortunately it's not. I do understand your frustrations, I've been there myself but it's nothing you or anyone can do against the system.
My prayers are with you and all on this thread.

Hello Minsar
I am agree with you Pakistanies suffer the maximum from this Immigration system of Canada, i think it is because our failed foreign policy our government does not take any action on this. but what to say when canadian MPs are also not taking any interest to know how much Canadians suffer when their spouses are blocked to be with them? |
