 I was waiting for Med. like you & many other friends, but instead I received the following :
Dear Applicant:
In order to continue processing your application the following information is necessary: -Proof that the post-secondary education that you received meets the definition of educational credential under R(73) which reads: "educational credential" means any diploma, degree or trade or apprenticeship credential issued on the completion of a program of study or training at an educational or training institution recognized by the authorities responsible for registering, accrediting, supervising and regulating such institutions in the country of issue. -Please also provide proof of the number of years you were in education, and provide proof that those years of education meets R(73). Please forward this information within 60 days from the date of this letter. If we do not hear from you within that period, your application will be assessed on the basis of the information on file and your application may be refused. I have 2 certificates re-post secondary education · Two years Diploma from Egypt ( hotel & tourism ) which was attested. · Three years Diploma from India ( hotel Management ) which was not attested. After receiving this letter I got the Indian certificate attested from india, my questions are: 1. Is this what they are looking for ? 2. Do I have to send the Original certificate ? Please Help. congratulatioins , realy I feel so happy for you and hope the next stage to be smooth and successful.
For me , I did the same and sent to CHC a query by email today and waiting for the reply . I want to ask you about the due date for sending the updates . did they give you 4 months starting from the date of the email you recieved or from the date they sent you the letter on Oct 2009 ( whic you didn't recieve) . This is important to me because I have similer case, my AOR is Aug2007 and I didn't recieve any thing from them yet .

Dear Omar,
In my opinion, your diploma certificates and transcrips in original need to be sent to London CHC. If you have a letter from the authorizing body stating that your institute is recognized under some educational act or is an approved organization, that would definitely help.
This step indicates that atleast there is some progress in your case. By the way, when did u recieve this letter?

I recieved today ( just few minutes ago) a letter of requesting documents updates from London CHC (through my POBox and not through email) .
It is dated 2 Nov 2009 ( my AOR was Aug 2007) .
Please update my entry in the timline .

This letter was dated Oct.26 & I received it on Nov.10th
