entry/travel date

I applied for my visa online but the date of travel I put is no longer possible. It's looking like I'll be travelling 2days earlier that that stated on the application. I have sent a message via the CIC website to ask about this and see if it would be possible to change the date but have heard nothing back.
Does anyone know how this will effect my entry?
