Inland applications are handled in their entirety at vegreville then if approved the file is sent to the local office for landing.
If there is a problem with the application for example an admissibility issue or a doubt as to the genuineness of the marriage the file will be sent to the local office of tue applicant so a procedural fairness interview can be conducted (depending on the office this slows down the application considerably) |

Hello there,
Can you please help me to understand the following . - How far does CPC vergreville go into the PR application (speaking of processing the application) before sending it to local office? By all mean do they do the entire work and only send the decision to local office to conduct landing Interview ? (Inland app) - Also, I was told that when a PR application is handled by a local office, this might actually take a bit longer time to get it done than if the file was processed by CPC vergreville is that true? Thanks for you comments |
