What if not have Additional Document ?

Hi,

Can any one please share experiance with me. As required for Canadian Citizenship need to submit Either
1) Record of Landing (IMM 1000) or Confirmation of Permenent Residence (IMM 5292)
2)PRC card copy.

But what if any one dont have #1 ??? I don't have IMM 1000 or IMM 5292.

Please Advice...

or if you lost it, you have the option to explain your situation with the citizenship application along with a police statement when you reported the lost document. I think you have another option that is you can apply for another (IMM 5292), however, it takes considerable processing time to issue it, good luck.

CIC gave you a copy the day you landed.
What did you do to that copy of your IMM5292 (known as COPR)?

Remember, you will still need that document even after citinzenship.....at the old age when you want to get ur pension, etc.

You better request/apply for a copy from CIC. Call the call centre and they will send you the forms and guide, or you can search the website.

I also lost it. and request a copy, but it takes time for CIC to send it. It took few months as I remember
