Hi everybody
I was wondering if it worths for me to go back to school and do my master's in law?
I already have a Bachelor degree gained in Europe.I know I can't practice law before being accept my the order of Lawyers but I'm not very interested in working as attorney.
My question is,will my Master be recognized if gained here in Canada and will it help me get a better job?
Thanks
Lana

nope it wont. Most of the places ask u to be locally qualified. Even with a masters u will have to do ur NCA exams and then LSUC exams.

If u do not want to work as an attorney then u can look for contract mgmt, compliance jobs etc where legal training is an asset. An LLM is not going to help u.
